Ventured to Sukhumvit area and decided to check out this Accor collection. Had a meal at Le Macaron and it was exquisite. The service was excellent, especially by Khun Tae, who was very accommodating. However, the charm was tainted by the negative antics of mainland Chinese tourists, who create a nuisance of themselves at the lobby area. There was also this quirky encounter with a nearby table, where a guest was crying constantly and a member of staff was seen consoling her for hours. This sort of drama should be taken offline and perhaps in a more private spot of the hotel such as a meeting room or Club Milliseme? The concierge team was helpful in assisting me with a charger. When the Club Lounge staff suggested to me on my last stay here to return and experience Songkran in Bangkok since I have never experienced the famed Water Festival before, I took up the suggestion and returned to my favourite Bangkok hotel just for Songkran and the amazing Club Lounge team of course. My friends who came by to visit me were similarly impressed by the hotel's new look and were envious after comparing to where they are staying. All in all, a great stay with over the top excellent service from the entire Club Lounge team (Sindy, Macky, Nok, Khaow, Tum, Ann, Gift, Tide, Valen and Friend), the affable Housekeeper Waew who kept my room spotlessly clean every day and another male housekeeping supervisor I think who came by shortly after my check in to welcome me back home! The welcomers at Voila restaurant greeted all guests with a wide smile every morning and the food choices were plentiful and delicious. Went up to Belga for the welcome drinks close to midnight and was served by the energetic Nan. Massage by Therapist Moon at Le Spa was relaxing along with the warm welcome back by the Spa Manager Bow. Looking forward to return again!

I was so happy that it was a trip with Sofitel. All the staff had a bright smile and kindness, but especially the mummy at the check-in desk was the best. I am not good at both English and Thai, but I was able to check-in and check-out without difficulty because of Mira. I will definitely stay at Sofitel for my next trip to Thailand. Thank you

Booked through 3rd Party . Enjoyable 3 night stay in a Magnifique Room ( facing away from Sukhumvit). Excellent value for money in a prime location. Comfortable bed with all room functions (including in-room dining) controlled from a Pad at the side of the bed. Really liked the colour scheme in the room with quite a vivid pale blue. Plenty of space and a superb TV and a writing desk. In room dining food was excellent and served quickly. The Thai choices very good value for money. Thought the redesigned lobby very welcoming with a beautiful floral display. It was quite busy on check-out but the staff were in control and no delays to my exit. Would have liked to have seen the swimming pool spruced up a little, the hedges surrounding the sunbeds seem to be a haven for insects, but nonetheless a lovely pool and comfortable setting. Special mention for concierge Tony who was very helpful and informative.
