Take your ear plugs!

Definitely take ear plugs or stay somewhere else if you’re not deaf! I was on the 3rd floor overlooking the Hauptbahnhof and the mountains. I could hear the announcements from INSIDE the train station despite some double glazing! Traffic was also audible. Breakfast good, and about 15 minutes walk into town.

Very good hotel - just across Innsbruck Railway Station. Just cross the road and you are in the hotel from the railway station. Best place to be for early or late trains - and not far away from the mail tourist area of Innsbruck (about 20 min walk). The room was big and comfortable... front desk staffs were helpful

Good hotel, great value and location

The hotel is located in downtown Innsbruck, right next to the railway station, we came on train which made things very easy. I booked this because I'm an Accor platinum member and like to stay on brand. It's basic and functional. Rooms were clean and well looked after, everything is a little bit dated but absolutely fine at the price point. Staff were all very helpful and efficient. No negatives at all, it's a mid range hotel with a excellent location, 1 minute from the railway station, 5 minute walk to Maria Theresa strasse and central Innsbruck. We came to Innsbruck for the Christmas markets and winter sports, the Ibis was a drama free base to enjoy both.

We chose to stay here because of the convenient location, about 10 minutes on foot to the old town, and mostly the parking underground. However, you can’t book your parking space and it’s quite expensive (€20 per day!). If you come by train, instead, it’s definitely your best choice locationwise. The room was average, a bit on the small side, and not very clean (we found items that belonged to the previous guests in the bathroom and stains on the chairs). They should air the rooms before welcoming new guests, and we arrived quite late in the afternoon. The heating was noisy, but it worked well. All in all, considering the price I would probably look at somewhere else first before going back.

Optimally located as you can walk from train station directly to the hotel lobby. The staff is friendly. Rooms are clean and comfortable. Walking distance from mariahilfstraße and plenty of eating option including ease of connectivity. View from room is amazing as you open to snow clad mountain
