Landed very early in the morning at SIN and arrived at the hotel shortly after. Being very early in the morning, I was planning just to register for check in and leave my luggage then explore the city. But in reality, I was very tired and wanted to sleep. The kind lady at check in do her best to see if she can accomodate a room for me straight away. That was very nice of her knowing that she is not oblige to do that. After talking with her supervisor, she manage to get me a room at 9:30. Still 3 hours away, but that is a huge help and very thankful of that. The room itself is very cosy and good size. Bathroom is clean and very well maintained. Location is not too far from airport and many shops nearby. Very nice hawker food accross the hotel. The pool looks cosy and very nice bar next to the pool to reedeem the welcome drink. The chinese food at level 2 also nice and they take accorplus too. Will stay here again in future, highly recommend for transit

Don’t be deceived by the look of this hotel as the hotel rooms are dated and poorly lighted. There is no bidet in the toilet and the water tap and shower head are old fashion. On top of that the hotel using a shower curtain which can’t really prevent the water from escaping. The towels provided also seem old and dirty and there is no face towel. The amenity kit provided also of poor quality doesn’t match the Accor standard at all. Also the hotel don’t provide any bottled of water as you need to go to the water dispenser to take the water if you need it. Really like hostel style. We will not be staying here again unless the hotel ready to refurbish the room.

The hotel has been our regular place to stay when visiting Singapore. The room is spacious and the hotel seems to have gone some upgrade notably the lobby area. I commented in the past how the room was showing its age with some wallpaper peeled and stains on the grouts, however, with the room that we stayed, it looks newish. The wallpaper looks fresh and the grouts seem newish with some touch up. There’s no more complimentary water bottles provided . It is now replaced with refillable water machine located in the corridor. Ice machine is on Level 4 along with washing machine and dryer, costing $7 each (need to change into token at concierge). There is also $2 fresh orange machine and money exchange machine as well as gym and swimming pool. With MRT ready in few months time and just right in front of the hotel, this is definitely a good place to offer. In the meanwhile, bus 36 from airport to Parkway Parade (opposite hotel) only cost SGD $1.83 using the EZLink card or use 1,2 or 3 days Singapore Tourist Pass .

Was first assigned to a very run down room with stained carpet, dirty cup, fridge not cold, rusty shower sliding door etc - totally disgusting so-called Premium room. This is an old, outdated tourist class hotel which doesn’t deserved to be called Grand! Elevators were old and slow. Certainly not worth the rate.

As a many times repeat customer we were very disappointed by the check in experience during our latest stay. Aoplogies were offered for the delays due to their "new system". Our check in took around 20 minutes. The hotel really needs to do something about this. Possibly revert to the old system?
