Every aspect of the hotel was wonderful.Upon arrival,I was warmly greeted by the staff at the front desk.The location was perfect, I could walk everywhere from here.My room was spacious and very comfortable, clean and immaculate. I would definitely recommend this hotel to friends and can’t wait to stay here again.

Beware this is a 3 star hotel, even with nice staff

This is a three star hotel. My room looks nothing like the photo on their website. The fittings are very average. The bathroom is just cheap melamine and a shower over the bath. Staff are nice and the location is OK but this is nowhere near a good hotel and miles away from luxury or from being 4 star.

Aix en Provence is such a charming and vibrant city. Hôtel Roi René MGallery is the best and nicest hotel within the city and has close proximity to everything you want to see. Don’t miss elegant Hotel Caumont 3 mins up the street. The rooms are lovely, very comfortable, good sized and quiet, and these are really quite challenging to find in Aix. The hotel is especially elegantly run and the attentive staff goes out of their way to assist you. I found the Reception staff to be remarkably polite, professional and courteous, and enjoyable.

fantastic hotel, great location for exploring the town. I had a small corporate group staying in the hotel for the rugby weekend in Marseille. The front desk service was superb all weekend. the hotel was exceptionally busy with other larger groups, but the service from the front desk was personal and we were made to feel welcome, especially from Ouael. He was really helpful as my first point of contact on arriving in the hotel. Thank you Ouael ... sorry for the delay with this review. If any one reads this there is a fantastic bakery to the right of the hotel, about 50 yards down the street, its worth a visit.

No phone charging or US adapters

The hotel is modern, lovely though there aren't any drawers for clothes except some very high cabinets. Main complaint is No way to charge our U.S, phones, pads, etc! That is incredible not even charging stations in the room. A huge inconvenience. Even old hotels in Paris had room charging plugs.
