Front Desk Check in- Arrived in the evening and was assisted by Ms Rose Ruehs Assistant Front Office Manager check in went smoothly she's very kind explained everything as I was a first timer in the property. My boyfriend and I was welcomed by her and got a lei. We were also given a welcome amenity in the room and complimentary drink vouchers and Activity pass. Kudos! Her service was exceptional Housekeeping-Our room was taken cared of Ms Marylou she's very welcoming and ensures that our room is clean. Pillows and bed is great got an 8 hours sleep Room Service - Florante Custodia celebrated our Anniversary and we were given a VIP amenities that he personally set up in our room Orchid Court - Aileen Rebbie and from the breakfast area were amazing they Food is great Browns beach House - We were amazed by the ube pandesal with the caramelized butter we dined twice just to have it. Food is very good its a must try and thank you to our servers Tramaine the flash I must say because he is so fast good for the business. With compliments of chocolate macaroon not a fan but still service was great. Binchotan Bar and Grill - servers too young no chit chat just the regular questions "how's everything?'' no connection. Food wasn't that great the menu is limited. If only we knew we could've dined at the Hale Kai instead of binchotan. I thought they only serve drinks at that area. Hale Kai - Thank you to Anthony and Hainani Check out - Thanks to Tiara she's super friendly All in all our stay in this property is one of the best experience that we had. The people here are so friendly and the service is outstanding . We stayed in Fairmont Grand Del Mar Fairmont Century Plaza Fairmont Sonoma Mission Inn Fairmont Orchid is our number 1. Definitely will visit again and highly recommended

Good stay, but not great

The hotel was fine, rooms were nice, common areas were gorgeous, but for a Fairmont and for the price, there wasn't really anything that WOWed me. Pool area is small and VERY tired as are all the lounges and chair pads. Beach area is VERY small and gets very crowded with small children in the water. Service was very average. I had to leave several notes over several days for the housekeeper to refill the shower soap....in the shower that was never cleaned the entire time we were there (same small pile of sand from inside a bathing suit remained there for 5 days!). I left my flat iron in the room. I called 2 hours after we checked out when I realized we had left it there and they said it wasn't there. Now, come on!

excellent stay at the Orchid. Everybody was so nice and all the outlets were great and relaxing Tiara and James at the front desk took good care of us. Lisa, Nerlie, Kallan and Chris at the Fairmont Gold lounge were so welcoming during the morning breakfasts we will miss them. Destiny at the beach bar was great and lounge bartender Manna is the man! server Roshni too. highly recommend!
