Funky property in the heart of Hollywood. Great breakfast.

Chose the hotel due to its central location in Hollywood. Walking distance from the Hollywood Stars, and we even went outside the Oscars! Hotel has an active and I guess popular rooftop bar that gets plenty of guests in the evening so the noise of the bass from the music goes on till late night. Be aware of that. We were on the top flor just below the bar so heard the music will maybe past 2am? The reception is small, as they have the ground floor bar (also lots of people in the evening) and the elevator to the floors creaks a bit! Rooms were ‘different’! To say the least. Funky lamps, and furniture. Comfortable beds. Boxed water! And a safe locker much needed. We had great breakfast both days we were there. We also used the valet parking for our van. Since we did not know the area. They would get the car in under 5 mins. Efficient. Safe. This was a family short visit to LA as we drove down from SF along Route 1, a FABULOUS experience. That for another review! This hotel works.

Nice location and view but food not completely worth the price

Enjoyed the rooftop restaurant and view, it has a nice atmosphere but you are definitely paying for it with the food and drinks. I wouldn’t say anything I’ve had to drink or eat there is particularly outstanding for the price but like I said it’s because it’s such a nice location that I feel like it costs as much as it does.

Great hotel. Really central to Hollwood although i cannot understand visiting Hollywood too often. Rooms are well furnished, a kettle or coffee maker would be good. Very average size but more than adequate for a business trip. the breakfast was great.

This is a really cute place to have cocktails and drinks in LA. The downstairs area is busy and there’s seating upstairs. Be sure to have physical ID as they won’t allow you in otherwise. The drinks were expensive compared to london but I think that’s w wry where in LA.

Not a relaxing hotel

We booked this hotel for our final four days of our honeymoon trip and made a mistake. The hotel is very close to the walk of fame in Hollywood and as Italians, we didn’t imagine it’d be this rough. There are tents on the other side of the street and homeless people everywhere, I didn’t feel safe, especially in the evenings. The hotel has two bars, one on the ground floor and one on the roof, both very busy, even during the week. We stayed on the 3rd floor and could hear either the music and people chatting. The entrance is the same for guests and people that visit the bars so the hall gets very busy and there’s security who checks guests too, feels like entering a club, not a hotel. The rooms are modern which means they’re pretty minimalist and there are not wardrobes or shelves to store clothes and personal belongings. There’s only a table and few hangers, for 4 days I had to keep my clothes inside the luggage on the floor. Breakfast is served, there’s no buffet and it’s pretty expensive, considering it’s a four star hotel, we’d have expected to at least get coffee. We would not recommend this hotel, especially if you’re looking to have good nights sleep.
