Old hotel - disinterested staff

The rooms are old and tired, they may have been renovated but this was years ago or the renovation job was poor. In mine there was a large cement pillar placed awkwardly in the middle of the room. The bathroom is also old. The chair and desk uncomfortable, the bed too soft. As usual the AC was not properly set and the rooms was uncomfortably hot. The staff was not interested, refused to speak in English and was generally cold and not welcoming.

Avoid Room 2415

Do not stay in room 2415. Fridge does not work, shower pressure non existent and bath plug does not work, impossible to get bath more than a quarter full. The safe also didn't work, but this was fixed by 2nd day. Breakfast is good and room clean.

Actually, I stayed in this hotel between 21 and 23 September 2022. I am a bit behind with my reviews... :-) I enjoyed my stay at this Mercure. A good-size room and nice breakfast for a decent price (keeping in mind that prices have gone up quite a bit). My room looked out on a busy street (also at night), so I had to keep the window closed. The room has air conditioning. I would gladly return here.

Good hotel clean and well located. The receptionist and bar man- Nadeem Bajwa was fantastic, what an asset to the hotel! Very helpful and friendly, nothing was too much trouble, really he was fantastic!

Nice hotel for one or two nights

Nice hotel for one night. The aircondition works, so the room has a decent temperature even when it is hot outside. The room is also nice and the bed is comfortable. If you need extra quilt, it is in the lockerm unfortunately for us, we did not discover that before the morning. The location is alright, and the receptionist were very helpful, especially when it was to help us finding a parking. The parking house at the hotel is only recommended for small cars.
