Comfortable beds

Good: + comfortable bed + swimming pool + clean Negative: - stuff is occupied with own business - air climate not working We visited friends in Beijing and did not eat breakfast, so we cannot say anything about breakfast. We checked in with our daughter, who speaks chinese, and our chinese friend. There was no problem. When we had a problem with the air condition and spoke English, they said something in chinese behind our backs, my daughter was shocked, because she understood them. So stuff is rude and impolite, if they think that you cannot catch a word. Something to laugh about and it is a story to share at home ;)

My advice: avoid this hotel

Check in : rude staff. Very slow. They never used basic vocabulary like « Please » or « Thank you ». Poor service, they just do not care. A machine would provide a better quality. Room…: simply dirty. Air Con: INOP. Run away from this hotel. It is just a communist office.

I traveled to Beijing for work, and was booked this hotel through my work. At first glance the hotel looks very nice. The staff is very friendly and accommodating. However, my largest issue was that the hotel claims it is non smoking, but when I got to my room it reeked of cigarettes. I mean everything from the bed sheets to the shower towels. I changed rooms the following morning. Later in the evening I was walking from my room and three gentleman were all smoking in the hallways. I also found people smoking in the lounge right in front of check in desk. The staff did nothing to stop them from smoking their cigarettes. Since I do not smoke it was brutal to be around.

Needs some TLC

Not particularly clean ie bathroom floor was fithy under cabinets, not able to comment on staff, bar area was poor We ate at a adjacent restaurant (DiYaLi) recommended by our guide and it was good value and a pelasant meal although our service was slow There was no milk for the in room tea/coffee, but there is the helpful shop over the road

Such an amazing experience!

The hotel was real nice and cozy, it wasn’t that far from the Jiu long shan subway. We could easily walk from the hotel. Hotel people were really friendly and fluent in English. You can ask for any kind of help at the lobby. The rooms were nice and clean, breakfast was also good. There are shops for daily necessities right opposite to the hotel(might be difficult to locate,as they only have a door and you have to get in, there’s no windows of the shops).
