This is a hotel near a mainline railway station be realistic as to your expectations.

We were staying in Frankfurt for a few days and wanted a hotel close to the railway station and the Sachsenhausen area at a reasonable price, this hotel fitted all the above. Let's deal with the location. It is near the main station,which is good. However, there is open drug taking going on in nearby streets as well as it being close to the Red light area. Staff at check-in were very open about this and gave us good advice to circumnavigate the areas. That out of the way staff were excellent, communal areas smart and well cared for. Our room was on the fifth floor and overlooked another building, this was no problem for us and is part of booking a central city hotel. The room was very clean and bedding exceptional. The shower was a little small but not so as to inconvenience us. Breakfast was a good price and the buffet was well laid out, staff coming regularly to restock items and clear tables.

Not worth the money.

The people behind this hotel should be ashamed of calling this a Styles. All red Ibis I've seen are better. TV is as old as my grandma & only German channels, shower is only for kids, while room and badroom is super big. There is fungus & lot of stuff lose. The WiFi is bad.

Terrible / open air drug market nearby / poor hotel

Firstly the hotel is located 100 metres from an open air drug market, I walked past people openly injecting and smoking crack in the street, this happens all hours of the day and night apparently. There are young prostitutes with older pinps, pickpockets and all manner of mentally unwell people just up the street from the hotel. Secondly the hotel itself was substandard, the air con was too loud to put on, the wifi was unreliable often logging me out, the bed wasn’t comfy and a light flickered so was unusable. I am here for business and asked to be moved after my first night. I was rudely told as I checked out that ‘I won’t get a refund’ and nothing else, no apology. I asked to make a complaint and the receptionist then changed her tune apologising ect. Unless you can’t afford anywhere else I would not recommend staying here.

We stayed one night because it is within walking distance of the train station. Professional check-in & given a quiet room on the 5th floor. A good size room, comfortable bed with a roller shutter on the window. We slept soundly. Good size bathroom although a small shower. Delicious breakfast included in the price. Just a shame about the surrounding area, down by the river is nice.

nice location close to almost everywhere in central frankfurt metro(ubahn)not super close but there is a tram stop near by the breakfast was ok for a semi expensive mid range hotel but since it was early winter the bedroom could have been a touch warmer
