Small room but comfortable and clean. Food in the restaurant was very good! Location is close to a huge shopping mall, and to the Planty Park which wraps around Old Town. The bus stops across the street and fares are cheap. We would stay here again for sure.

A nice stay for 3 nights. Location is good for the train station but be aware you can hear them from your room starting at 6 in the morning. Rooms are a good size, nice and clean. Bed is comfy but thankfully there was a soft pillow on the shelving as the ones on the bed were solid! Check in was easy. If you are booking bus tours this is a good hotel to stay at as most of them can pick you up from the hotel car park. Would stay here again

This was my third stay at this hotel in six months. The hotel is perfectly located, close to the transport hub and the centre of Krakow. Very clean. Very friendly staff. Highly recommend as a starting point in Krakow. Optimal price/quality ratio.

We stayed here for 9 nights, and the room was nice and spacious even for quite long stay. There was a table and where to hang and put clothes. The reception team was wonderful, really helpful, they really wish to make your stay more comfortable. I had to write them an email for some details of my booking and check in the day before arrival, and it was wonderful, that they answered me at the same evening. After arrival I came to them with lots of questions and small requests, they always did their best to help. The breakfast was wonderful, lots of varieties of food. Cooked food, sandwiches, sweets and fruits. It was always tasty and fresh. People working in the kitchen were wearing nice uniforms and looked really "clean" and professional. The dining room was clean indeed. I really enjoyed breakfasts as there is a nice view and cool music as well. I would love to emphasise that the room cleaning was nice as well, very fast and high quality cleaning. I really appreciate that housekeepers did not disturb me, but always caught a moment when I was at breakfast of just out. There is a machine with water in the hall, such a great idea! In general destination is great. Just 5 min to Main Railway and Bus Station (which are in Galeria Krakowska). 15-20 min to Main Square. If you need to go somewhere by bus or train, it is great as well.

What is the difference between Ibis Krakow Stare Miasto and Ibis budget Krakow Stare Miasto 1. the size of the room. I dont have the actual dimension but there is VERY limited room to move around in the budget version. 2. in budget version, the sitting toilet and shower room are different. when combined, the surface area is smaller in the budget version. 3. there is no desk in the budget version. there is also no hair dryer. i dont remember whether there is a narrow standing cabinet in the budget version. Both are next to each other and they are located 5 minutes walk from the train/bus central through Galeria Krakowska. It is very convenient to get public transport. There is a bus/tram stop known as Politechnika just outside the hotel However, it takes us at least 15 minutes (good walkers, mind you) to reach the old town square centre. Given a choice, I prefer paying slightly more for the non budget version. It is definitely more comfortable unless you are singles and want to back-pack. The staff was obliging - lending us the EU plug/socket, electric kettle. And there is accessible water dispensers with sparking water in the lobby and on some/all floors. Internet wifi is excellent
