Avoid this chain of hotels. Visited this hotel and had my motorcycle stolen during the night. Manager had no interest in helping and staff at hotel may well have been complicit due to their refusal to admit who opened the security barrier and refusing access to the cctv.

HORRIBLE SERVICE AND THIEVES When you stay in an Ibis budget you pay little and get little, that is OK. However, during our stay the lights in our room kept flickering like a stroboscope (see video) on and off during the night, making it virtually impossible to sleep. When we mentioned this to the receptionist in the morning, his reaction was 'oh no, has it started again?'. We emailed a complaint and several times were promised a refund. Initially however the excuse for not executing the refund was 'our accountant is on holiday' or a variation to that theme. We have now send many emails, do no longer receive a reply and have still not received the promised refund. What a bunch of crooks @ibis!

This hotel was as expected with the exception of the bed. It was clear that the mattress had not been replaced in a while - fairly thick at the edges but hard and thin in the middle. Sleeping on top of the duvet did not help. In all other respects the hotel was ideal as a stopover. It was clean with a friendly and helpful person on reception. As we did not fancy the next door McDonald's, he offered to direct us to reception although instead we opted to use the microwave in reception. However, we had been used to a standard of bed with the Accor brand, regardless of the budget level and this hotel did not meet the minimum in that regard. The shower was function but was definitely the smallest that we had ever seen.

We found the staff to be helpful and polite. The room was clean and up-to-date. It was a very convenient with many restaurants within walking distance and we were also on the road very easily the next morning.

Ok we know the bed is bad and the pillow hardly existing. But the lights in the room switching on and off for the better part of the night and nobody to help us/let us change room made this into a nightmare stay.
