Easily our family's favorite hotel in Korea!

Location is perfect, 10/10. Airport Limousine Bus 6015 bus stop is just in front of the hotel building. 7-11 and Nice to CU convenience stores located just a short walk from the hotel. We frequently buy breakfast (pastries) from Angel-in-us cafe just behind the hotel, and grab some coffee and strawberry milk from 7-11, if the kids want to sleep in. Coin laundry and dryer on the 10F is such a gem! We stayed more than a week in Korea and packed less clothes as we intended to do laundry there, so that we have more luggage space for shopping. There is also a microwave in the laundry room, which we were also able to use to reheat take-out food. Lots of good restos near the hotel too. You will not get hungry at all. Room is sufficiently sized, a room with the double bed can comfortably sleep 2 adults and 1 small kid. Have enough space to have 3 big luggages fully open on the floor and still left with walking space. Our room is situated almost near end of the hallway and the free hotel wifi (unsecured one) is very choppy. Reported this to front desk and staff quickly provided the password for the secured connection, which we were able to connect properly until end of our stay. Note that the bathroom is quite small, but still OK. Ibis provides shampoo, body wash, and hand wash. That's it. Starting March 2024, they stopped providing toothbrush kits - you need to purchase from them or just drop by nearby Daiso to stock-up on any missing supplies you may need. We didn't have issues with the thermostat and aircon as other reviewers did, it was pretty cold the week we were there. We will definitely stay here again!

Great family friendly hotel in the city centre, close to railway and metro station. Clean rooms, friendly staff, great breakfast. You can walk straight out to experience real downtown Seoul. Attractions are close by taxi and bus. Highly recommended. Taxi available on request.

Good location but terrible air control

Hotel location is great but the room was got dusty very quickly after a quick wipe down. The hotel does not allow you to control the aircon temperature for each room and the hottest night has been 27/28 degrees in the room, turning on the air con made the room even hotter and unbearable.

We do have a Air circulating system that we try to provide a cold breeze air to the room but it seems like the room was not cold enough. Ibis Ambassador Myeongdong is in a fantastic location for visiting Myeongdong, Namdaemun and the surrounding area. It is a small hotel with rooms that are adequate for couples. Bathroom is small like other Ibis hotels but works for 2 persons. Breakfast is decent and coffee is good. The Airport Limousine Bus from/to Incheon Airport drops/picks you up infront of the hotel, just a 1 munte walk up the sidewalk. Subway, Bus and Taxi are also within 1 to 5 minutes away. Many things to see within walking distance from the hotels front door. Front desk staff are very helpful and informative. We would like to express Thanks to Sam, Matt and Erin for their patience, information and professionalism when helping us figure out how to get to other parts of Seoul. Would definitely stay again.

Good for a three star hotel, reception is on the top floor so not great if you don't like lifts! Four lifts with only one usable to get to the reception which is well appointed, which is the same with the rest of the hotel, room was fairly small but ok, shower room was ok. Restaurant was ok but slightly expensive. Location wise it's excellent, very vibrant area with street market round the corner and lots of shops from high end Louis Vuitton to market style fair. Lots of restaurants and bars but the room in the hotel is well sound proofed so you don't get disturbed by the hustle and bustle, ten minute walk to the nearest subway so really good access to the rest of Seoul
