Very good for a stop-over

The hotel is functional and clean. The receptionist is very friendly and helpful. The location is in a commerical area so there are very few places to go for a dinner. But the steakhouse "L'Atelier" is a good place to got to. Rooms are clean and spacious with separate shower stall and toilette. WLAN is free and reliable.

A little bit outside of Haguenau but less than 10 min. drive from the centre. The receptionist was nice and efficent. The room was small but enough for one night and it was clean. Same for the bathroom. For a budget hotel it was a nice stay.

2.5: room OK, same as other budgets, but stank of smoke. Appeared to be no option non smoking room. This appears to be older than other budget Ibis hotels. Will not be staying here again. Shame because beds are good. Breakfast OK too.

This is bottom end of the market but so is the price. We opted to stay here because we would hardly be in the rooms! On the positive side it's very clean and the beds are comfortable. The shower "cabin" was quite roomy and the water was hot. Breakfast (though we didn't have it) looked well worth 6 euros. Here's a room tip. Don't have a ground floor room and make sure its not a smoking room.

Have never seen such a small shower "room", we did not even dare to take a shower in the morning. Toilet not much bigger. Room was small. One can see the difference between an Ibis Budget and a standard Ibis hotel. Reception refused to accept my Accor LeClub card although while booking on the German Ibis website it is clearly mentioned that my card will be accepted. My claim later on was denied as well. Not a very pleasant experience within this hotel chain. Breakfast okay, good selection, surprisingly fresh coffee, not from one of those machines.
