Good budget hotel

A good budget hotel. The staff is great and extremely helpful. The lady who does the breakfast (available in the lobby for an extra cost) works very hard to make sure that everything is just right for her customers. The front desk quickly went out of their way to help get an extra towel and soap when we needed them. Small room - reminds me of a cruise ship room. But well designed, clean and friendly. Don't expect a luxury hotel, but great for budget travelers. This location was also very convenient to the metro (10 minute walk) and bus station (right across the street). It did take a little travel time to get to tourist sites, but the price was good and offset the travel time.

Won't be back in this hotel for sure. One good thing is that, it is near to metro station. Four minutes of walking. The Triple room was too small. The smell of the room was not good. The people at the front desk weren't very nice as well. Ibis budget (119€/night) ...was this a good budget? Maybe so. :-(

No A/C, Bugs, General Lack of Security

I understand that large groups can be hard to manage, but this was not a great experience for anyone in our group. First, some group members were assigned to rooms that were already occupied. Some rooms had ants, there was no a/c, and windows did not open. Also, the reception handed out keys without asking for any sort of identification, not even a name. This did not make us feel very comfortable.

Still here, 2nd of 3 nights. Air con 'stopped' working first night about 7ish, just in reception gave me loads of nonsense about requiring a part I showed me would be fixed following day. Got back in the evening with it working and then went off again the same time with 'central' flashing on the display. I think this is a policy but a hotel to reduce energy costs by not running the aircon after 7:00 p.m.? Going to attempt to refund the some sort has if the window open is ridiculously noisy from outside. Don't waste your money trying to save a little extra I'll get a decent hotel.

Went to Paris at the end of January 2023 alone and chose this hotel mostly for the location (near Paris, near the subway and a quiet, safe neighbourhood). Enjoyed every minute of it (even though I spent the days out and only went back at the hotel to shower and sleep haha). The staff was really kind, polite and spoke english (my french is still far from fluent) as well. I arrived at the hotel earlier than expected and they gave me the option to store my lugagge and go out and enjoy the morning while waiting. Turns out the room got vacant sooner so they let me check in right away! Didn't try the breakfast but they offer it. I got the double room and the bed was really comfortable, clean sheets and towels every day. It's winter but it didn't get cold inside. I also loved the shower there! I couldn't be happier with my stay there!
