Our visit in december 23 was no good. Crampy room, at streetside.Breakfast staff was late and not interested until later. Elevator seems to fall apart. We choose this because it is near the busstation for our trip. We returned in jan. 24. Room at poolside. Bigger and quiet. Breakfast was very good. We will be back. Convenient location.

Lovely hotel in the centre of Marrakech

Lovely small hotel in the centre in Marrakech. Very friendly staff, I had a lovely 8 days with my daughter. The hotel downstairs is very nice and modern renovated. The garden is pretty! You can’t believe you have such a green, gorgeous garden with pool while you are in the centre with train and busses and quite some noise around the corner. It makes it perfect because you can relax at the hotel but at the same time you are in the centre and go for a walk (or take a taxi) for many things to see in the centre (for example the Macma museum, Jardin Majorelle or the Djemaa el fna square) . It is also very near the airport or for excursions. (Please visit Ouzoud!) Supermarket or Starbucks just around the corner. The breakfast is small but good enough to have a good breakfast. They refill bread and things every 10 minutes. It’s always fresh and very well made. The room we had was old, if they renovate the older rooms the hotel would be perfect. The room was small, the closet space needed some thinking. Even though the room was on the street side, we did not hear any noise because the glass is well isolated. (And we like to look outside and see the busy city life.) Also have to say that the beds are very good, we had a excellent rest every day! Would recommend this hotel if you look for a nice hotel in the centre of Marrakech. :)

Stayed here for two nights recently. Arrived in the afternoon and check-in seemed to take ages and having to fill in your own arrivals form when they could do that later, not what you want when you've been travelling since 230am.The rooms seem very much in need of refurbishment and redecorating which is surprising for an Ibis. At first the reception staff seemed quite impolite and uninterested. The location is good, right next to the train station with plenty of restaurants around. Breakfast was reasonable although it seems to be held in a lounge area.

Very good service and location, helpful team and fast response thanks so much i think every time going to Marrakech i'll book there to.get all the facilities for accommodation and hospitality which should be in any place

This hotel could be a treasure. It's close to the train station, has a nice outdoor pool and has the Ibis trading name. A pity that it falls short of the Ibis good standard. I stayed in the Casablanca Ibis the evening before and found it excellent. On arrival in Marrakech - after the published check-in time - I was greeted by a very unhelpful receptionist who told me the room was not available and had no idea when! 'Two hours, maybe three or four' he said, with a shrug. I eventually got in two hours later and found the room stank of tobacco. What hotel in the modern world allows smoking in the room these days? Really not acceptable. Later, I asked the guys on the evening reception desk where could I find the bus to the airport. They hadn't a clue. Eventually, after some confab, one guy brought me out to the street and pointed to a bus stop (which turned out to be completely inaccurate information). Overall, the hotel has a dowdy, poorly maintained appearance. For all of this, I must seriously question the competence of the hotel management
