The best thing about this hotel is its location. It is so close to the station! And the road to the station is lined with restaurants and shops. While the area is a little expensive, the advantage is unbeatable. We chose this hotel because we need to visit the station many time for travelling to different places from Disneyland to Switzerland. The room was small and there was no space left with an extra bed for our child. However, I do understand that a huge room is not possible within the city if you are not willing to spend a bom on your accommodation. The staff were warm and friendly.

Great budget hotel conveniently situated close to Gare de Lyon. No frillls but friendly staff and clean comfortable and quiet rooms. They were able to accommodate our request for 2 rooms next door to each other. Lockers available for left luggage. Decent area with variety of restaurants, easy for public transport to the main tourist areas and short walk to the Jardin des Plantes and Natural history museum. Good breakfast with a bit of everything available.

Great hotel about 8 minutes walk from gare de lyon. Room was missing refrigerator, but except for that it was no issues. Comfortable beds and air condition. Good and friendly service. Storage of luggage secure in luggage lockers for 2-3 euro in coins.

Problem with homeless people around hotel

Ibis is well situated close to Gare de Lyon and Bastille, but a lot of homeless people are staying around and at entrance of the hotel. For 200 Euro a night I expect nicer environment. Doesn't feel save :(

The double room was prepared with the sofa, to be used as a third bed for our daughter, so she could stay with us. The hotel is very well situated with some nice restaurants and a supermarket nearby. We especially liked the little courtyard, where you could enjoy a drink in the garden, or sit and read a book. The breakfast buffet was excellent. We enjoyed the 2 nights stay here, from here we could easily explore by foot or subway some sights in Paris!
