Poor customer service, rude staff

Poor customer service. The property does turn on air conditioning and it was very hot in the rooms. They say it is not summer yet. The front service staff is very rude. They charge an extra amount at the time of chek out which they call it as “city tax” on top of the tax you paid at the time of booking

One night stop after late flight- hotel accessible by tram and short walk, though Uber or taxi best option. Room a little dated, weird set up with toilet cramped and bathroom containing both shower and bath. Could have designed this a little better. Bed was firm but slept pretty well. Staff courteous and friendly. Breakfast not great…powdered scrambled eggs isn’t hugely appealing, bacon in water but pastries good and enough selection to keep most people happy. Most modern hotels have USB ports these days, sadly not Novotel. That being said, would stay again if need arose and for a single night. Bit far if you’re planning to explore Paris, in fact it’s not ideal at all.

The beds were nice and firm rooms were clean. For what we paid the hotel was good, I would have liked a larger room for 3 people. The beds were comfortable. The only real complaint was what sounded like work being done in the hotel during the morning. When it’s 9 am your trying to sleep and all you hear is banging it’s not great. Apart from the banging that went on for about 2 hours on Saturday morning the hotel was quiet. There was a good supply of coffee but no cream in the room. The staff were friendly polite and professional. I would stay there again.

This is the 2nd hotel we have stayed in France and we stayed here for 3 nights. Our room was 210. Our room was spacious, bright and cosy, beds were comfortable and we had good rest. What we liked about this room (just like the other Novotel Hotel we had stayed in Dijon), was the separation of the toilet and bathroom. And there's a bathtub too. On the negative sides, there are limited USB/cable plugs (only one around the writing desk and another on the wall, next to the toilet which makes charging inconvenient, i.e. hanging in the air?) in the room and so charging of mobile phones or tablets can be challenging. In addition, there are no TV listing and searching the channels one-by-one can be challenging and also limited international channels too. There were no NHK, CCTV or Phoenix channels etc. Compliments must be given to the room service team. They had done a terrific job, our room was well cleaned. The restaurant was cosy too and the spread was good. Except that after 8.30am, some of the foods were not replenished anymore, like the pancakes, juices too. The location of the hotel is considered sub-rural, there are no shopping/convenience stores nearby. Only a McDonalds is about 12mins wak from here and even the nearest farmers market is about 25~30mins walk from here. Surrounding the hotel are other hotels or office buildings. The hotel has shuttle bus service to the Orly Airport at 30mins interval. Overall, we had a satisfactory stay here.

Good afternoon, we are staying at the Novotel Paris Orly Rungis hotel. The employee at the reception did not introduce herself and did not have her name, so I am sending her photo. she informed us that there are only rooms on the ground floor and the rest will be 20€ more expensive. This is deliberate deception and lies. Then she took a cash loan of 100€ from me, as my card did not work, and she did not want to give me a document on the deposit. Only after loud dialogues at the reception did she give me a document confirming the deposit. she also deliberately demonstrated not a good knowledge of English. I think that all these facts damage and discredit the hotel and I have to write about it with the lowest rating in Booking and Tripadvisor. With respect . Sergei
