Stayed at the Ibis over Christmas 2023. Ibis Muenchen City is conveniently located close to the main train station with lots of transport options all around. City was very quiet over this period but basing ourselves here made finding things to do much easier. Room was comfortable with enough room for two travellers with large bags. Staff all friendly and happy to help - breakfast was a great start to the day with a range of options from the buffet

We stayed for 1 night on March.We went early to the hotel before the check in time(10:00 am) so as to leave our luggage and the kind lady at the reception checked us in because we were ALL members!Very good location near the central station,nice breakfast, comfortable bed, very friendly and professional stuff!4 star service in a 2 star hotel!Definitely recommend it when on a budget!

Location is good: - 15-minute walk from the main train station and bus station (flixbus). - 25-minute walk from the city's main attractions or 10 minutes by tram that stops in front of the hotel. Everything you need in a short distance (supermarkets, restaurants, cafes). The room is good for short stays. Be aware that the trams work overnight, so if you have a problem with noise that might be an issue. Bathroom: small space. The shower is good but it is very small. Ibis should consider investing in better-quality toilet paper. The staff was very helpful. We arrived earlier than the check-in time and the room was ready. After checking out we left our luggage in the storage room. I would stay again at this hotel.

The hotel is in a good location for the train station. The customer service at reception was not great. We prepaid for the stay at the hotel and felt pressured to upgrade and pay for a larger “family room” to accomodate a small 6 year old child accompanying us. We held firm and did not upgrade. The room was clean but did not have tea/coffee facilities or a mini bar fridge.

Room is tiny bathroom is shoulder to shoulder size (tiny) prison type.. If I was anyone I would pay abit more and not come here. Bar tender (nighttime ) wouldn’t accept card for a drink only wanted cash but had a card machine at other end of bar grunted in German because he had to walk 3 metres to get card machine. Staff Attitude problem (laziness). Very rude and lazy. Room - very small not comfortable. Reception staff - very welcoming / nice Bar / coffee staff - Very rude always wanting cash ( they have a card machine at hand ) probably stealing Location close to Hauptbahnhof train station
