Great, but dinner is hit or miss.

Nice clean and comfortable rooms of a good size. Seperate toilet is a little odd but functional. Good facilities (gym with treadmill, bikes and weights, outdoor pool) and helpful staff. Breakfast is great but dinner is hit or miss (would advise eating out in Bourges).

Novotel is a Novotel. However the steel fence around it, covered in green plastic hides on the ground what you can see from the 4th floor! A seemingly old block of a hotel full of immigrants or refugees, causing hell, fighting sleeping on bench’s uncontrolled. Hotel is very hot too, room 435 has less air-conditioning than a car 30 years ago. So open the window and listen to the refugee camp fighting of a chair etc. Not the best. Breakfast ok, pull out beds are singles so each child gets a bed rather then rolling into each other. However not to be repeated.

Great stop over hotel, en route back to the UK. The hotel was situated just off the motorway so very convenient. The outside area with a pool was really nice to have a drink and the kids enjoyed the connect four. The food in the restaurant was excellent. All the staff were really nice and very helpful. I would recommend this hotel and will visit again if I’m in the area. The only small issue is the Wi-Fi in the rooms could be better. But on a whole it was a great stay

Very pleasantly surprised by this hotel. Booked simply as a convenient stopover, it turned out to be a great place to stay. All the staff we met were very friendly and helpful. The food was good, breakfast an amazing array of items - scrambled eggs really excellent, a good test of the chef. Room was spotless and quiet, great idea to have double set of doors to the corridor, it does cut down corridor noise. Very well managed hotel. Enjoyed watching the rabbits, from our room window, in a neighbouring field. Will certainly stay again if passing this way.

Beyond the marble tiles of the reception the hotel is incredibly dated, wood chip on the walls, small poky rooms. We had s stopover while travelling and always use to Novotel in France but this is the worst we have visited. Efficient but uninterested staff, wifi didn't work, TV didn't work, evening meal was awful and breakfast mediocre. We had two more Novotel stays planned on our trip this month, after experiencing Bourge we cancelled the lot, if I am getting budget hotel I want to pay budget prices.
