Second visit and highly recommend

Clean, tidy, friendly staff, 24/7 room Service and great ocean views. We had room service one night and had the lasagne which was really tasty. Second time I’ve stayed here as it’s a great location and perfect if you’re travelling on the Brittany ferry by foot.

Pleasant stay

Having read some recent reviews, we were a little worried about the state of the hotel that we have stayed in several time previously. Through Brittany Ferries, we had booked an accessible room, which was spacious and very nicely laid out. The shower in the wet room did tend to be a bit slow to drain, so a larger area was wet, but other than that, it was great. We know that there are no tea/coffee making facilities, so we took our own travel kettle and adaptor. The hotel receptionists were excellent, but we were not impressed by the housekeeping staff, who did not provide articles such as clean paper cups, and toilet rolls. The breakfast was brilliant, with freshly baked bread and croissants. We had wonderful weather, and a lovely stay in Roscoff. One word of advice, especially if you hae limited mobility, if you get a parking space near the hotel, don't move your car, and also print off the international disability document, to go with your UK blue badge.

Hotel is fine but for one problem..

Stayed here many times to or from ferry. It’s a very basic hotel but nice beds, bedding all fine, good shower and good value if all you want is one night enroute. As others have said, parking difficult but Roscoff is what it is, and impossible to rectify that problem. However, by coincidence I stayed in the same room in both May and September - Room 100. It had a terrible smell of urine, seemed to be not in the bathroom but in the room itself. There was a large stained patch in one corner. I really should have reported it the first time but it was late, I was tired etc etc. Pretty surprised when I realised it was the same room a few months later and the same smell. This time I did report it on leaving. The receptionist appeared surprised and said it was not a pet room. Someone else has said on here in June this year that their room smelt of dog. It wouldn’t stop me staying again but Room 100 needs a new carpet.

A very basic hotel

No air con …. Fair enough but no fan offered either. No tea and coffee making in room …. A basic these days. Charged when we wanted a coffee to take up to room. No safe as listed in amenities. Bathroom poorly ventilated an absolute hot house! Unfortunately would not re book here.

Tiny tired rooms

Tiny, tired rooms, you can’t open your suitcase anywhere. No tea and coffee facilities in the bedrooms and the tea and coffee machine in reception is not free - it’s 2.50 Euros per drink! Lovely view from the room we stayed in but it did get noisy outside with people smoking on the terrace below. We wouldn’t return. It felt more like a hostel.
