Great little hotel near the historic city center. The rooms are small, but literally my window looked out on Saint Baafs Kathedral. So close to everything. If you are a light sleeper, be aware of church bells and night life noise. Not too bad though. Friendly staff. You couldn’t have a more prime location for Ghent

Wow… this is a nice Ibis hotel !!!! As Platinum member I got upgraded to a larger room… and it was really really nice. Clean and spacious room (yes, it’s an Ibis !). Good and pleasant bar. Nice breakfast. Efficient and friendly service.

Ibis bathroom designers should go to the bottom of the class!

Ideal location for exploring Ghent, room clean, bed comfortable. Good range of dishes available at breakfast, so plenty of choice. The staff worked hard at keeping food levels up. We can only assume that whoever designs and installs the toilets in an Ibis hotel room is less than 5ft tall. The toilet is sideways in an alcove so a guest of average or above height has to sit on it sideways! This caused some hilarity in our large party, we all commented on the difficulties this caused! It’s fairly standard to have tea/coffee making facilities in hotel rooms so we’re surprised that this wasn’t provided. We would have felt happier if access to rooms was restricted by using room cards to activate lifts.

Great Location, the mostly friendly staff you could wish for, breakfast was very good. Shame about the vile English person who swore at reception staff for not giving him any more water its €2 a bottle he was bound to Trip some comment ??? shame on you AF. Book the car park early its small. Would stay again in a heart beat, only downside is staffing of the bar when it is busy

Room 314, well all in all not a bad rock to put your head on. But, 22:30 day to, go to reception. 'sorry but our room has been made, but we have no water?' yes that's right, you can buy more from the bar. So if I book one night I get water, and I book another, I get water:/ yes but if you book two, you can buy another from the bar. WTF, it's only water 💦🌊 💦 Apart from that yes recommend if your ok with stuff bacon and powered eggs scrambled for breakfast 🥞
