Novotel = NO REFUND

Novotel do not honour their REFUND POLICY I cancelled within the parameters of their REFUND POLICY yet they kept my money They said refunds could take up to 6 months. Very scary experience when I was asked to leave by a group of men. I had just stopped to charge my car and have a meal - as I have done several times when driving down the M1. This is obviously not operating as a hotel any more - as a woman on her own, this was scary.

I wanted to stay in the Nottingham area so booked to stay in the Novotel close to the junction with the A52 and the M1. It's really easy to get anywhere and very close to Toton Lane which is handy for using the tram to get into Nottingham City Centre. It's also a short drive to Derby. The member of staff who booked me in was really friendly and helpful and was able to answer all my questions. My room was really clean and spacious. The bathroom was lovely and I was provided with a shower mat for the shower which I would definitely recommend you use when having a shower. My bed was firm which is just what I like and comfy. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED

We had a room at the back of the hotel on the first floor, which was very quiet with no noise from the motorway. The room was clean and spacious with a good shower room. We ate dinner in the hotel. This was adequate but a bit bland, although reasonably priced.

A very nice spacious room with comfortable working area. Very modern and clean deco throughout. The hotel is located just off M1 and it is ideal location for a short stay. Nottingham city centre is just about 10 minutes drive.
