The hotel is as majestic and it looks online. It is in a beautiful location facing the harbour. Around the hotel are good restaurants to choose from but you can also eat right at the hotel of course. The staff are wonderful and accommodating. If you want to go for a nice walk, there is a walkway around the harbour right across the street.

We went for our 30th anniversary to Victoria and we reserved a Run of House, but as they knew it was a special date they upgraded us to a room with a beautiful view to the inner Harbour, and in addition they gave us a special present, great detail from the Manager, those are the special things that make a remarkable service. All the personnel is fantastic starting with bell boys, front desk, room cleaners, waiters, and so on, thanks a lot We had a wonderful anniversary, by the way they gave us a great recommendation for dinner. Best of the best.

From the front door staff taking our bags, to the porter getting everything to the room while we enjoyed a drink in the lounge, to the Gold desk staff checking us in, and the service in the Gold lounge all excellent

What an experience! From the time we arrived until we left, we were surrounded by the best service we could wish for. We had planned to stay at the Empress for 3 days but because of the great service, we extended our stay for 4 more days. From high tea to the wonderful breakfasts to the more than cooperative staff, we couldn't ask for a better vacation. Our thanks and best wishes to the management and staff. You made our stay one to remember.
