I stayed here during a conference. I got the corner room and it was excellent. Very happy with the friendly staff and quick service. The room, the lobby and hallway were always clean, anything that I requested extra (complimentary) was serviced really fast.

Upon entering my room it absolutely wreaked with marijuana. I quickly opened the window and tried to get it to dissipate. I tried to get the fan to work, but was told the heating/cooling system was still in winter mode and the fan would not come on. The desk did offer to bring a fan up to my room. I declined. The smell was gone by the next morning leaving my window open through the night.

The location was perfect given the conference I was attending. The room was clean, quiet and elevators did not have long waits. It would have been great to have regular coffee available in the room or lobby.

I had 24 hours before boarding VIA for Halifax - that is what brought me to Vancouver. I did my best to walk all over the area within a few miles of the hotel.
