Myself and my friend came as a girls trip away. Please ignore all other reviews that are negative because good god have people got weird expectations. Firstly we were met with a beautiful slow and long drive thru to the spa resort itself. This in itself was screaming peaceful and zen!! The greenery around you is just what your mind needs, if you have a dog or bike or enjoy running you will appreciate this! but even to those who dont the views for a walk is just amazing. Secondly the staff were friendly at check in and we were provided with a sheet that had all the detail super handy and helpful. The room was clean and just what you would need for the night! We had the Easter deal with prosecco, dinner ( 2 cours) and breakfast with use of all facilities. The prosecco was 10/10 the best we had! felt luxurious! we got given a robe each and shoes for the spa! The facilities were clean when we used them and really relaxing! The dinner / breakfast hall was EXTREMLY classy with a open room that had glass panels all around! well done to whoever thought of this! this adds a element of something which i personally look for!. We forgot some toothpaste and the reception staff were very helpful gave us a free toothbrush each with small sachets of toothpaste! dinner was amazing a lovely menu and they dont fall short on what they give! The breakfast was all you can eat! so not limitations! THANKYOU for such an amazing stay!! WE WILL DEFFO BE BACK! with our other halves or family or more friends!!

We stayed here for my wife's birthday. The staff here are wonderful ,and a special big thankyou to Cher on reception who helped us with our requests including organising an extra night for us. Great location to explore Stratford upon Avon. Will be back in the future! x

Great location, some poor services

This hotel offers loads of great benefits and positives. The location is fantastic, and the apartment rooms are ideal for a family. The grounds are great and the swimming pool is lovely, and very warm so the kids love it. However the whole place is let down by a few things which seem to be consistent year on year when we stay. The shower did not drain properly allowing only a maximum of 2 mins at a time before flooding the bathroom and waiting half an hour to drain. The toilet flush broke on our final night having been intermittently working the days before. Cobwebs around the light fitting in the bedroom show a disappointing attention to detail on cleaning. The on site restaurant service was terrible, extremely slow and uninterested. It seemed impossible to get any staff to speak to us! Overpriced for what it was too. The swimming pool this year didn’t allow pre booking time slots (despite the hotel info telling us we should!) so despite showing up early for the kids swimming time slot we were told it was already full and one in one out, presumably with spa day people who’ve remained in from earlier, before the kids are allowed in. I do really like this hotel, but with a few little tweaks it could be really outstanding.

Unhelpful rude staff and shocking food

Hostile staff from the moment we walked in. Unhelpful and passive aggressive. Although there were a couple of members of staff that were pleasant, nothing you wouldn’t expect from a hotel. The food was shocking, store bought re heated crap. We tried our best to stay out in Stratford all day to avoid the hotel. Really was poor. Apart from that the location of the hotel was nice and perfect for dogs.
