It has taken me nine months to get around to writing this review. The first probem was that we did not receive a welcoming email from the hotel in the days prior to our arrival. The second problem was that the entrance to the hotel is not easy to find. It happens to be down a badly signposted cul-de-sac and is not visible from the main road. The third problem was the fact that we went out to the pokies and when we returned, our room key would not open the door to the foyer, so we had to wait outside until a cleaner made their appearance in the foyer and we were able to attract their attention. It appears that there is no night manager as we tried ringing and there was no response. Then, we had a sleepless night due to noisy air conditioning. Spoke to the manager about these and other concerns and received a small discount and a change of rooms - thank you. As a 20 year member of ALL I expected better.

Stayed here for work - a few issues, dirty stained carpets, luke warm water -couldn’t take a shower and found someone else’s bandaid in the bed, only valet parking at $40 per day otherwise you need to park in the street. Will choose somewhere else next time.

We love coming to the Novotel Geelong it has been awhile and a couple of small things have changed which i miss like the little packet of biscuits to have with a cuppa when i first arrive and the menu for room service not much on there but other wise all good The staff are friendly clean rooms walking distance to everything and the buffet breakfast is to die for

Small room not that great for its location. Two singles to make a king.

Room was small and the king bed was made up of two singles pushed together. Not my idea of a Novotel experience. No follow up when mentioned at the front desk. Both sides of bed sunk and mattresses obviously havnt been changed In a while. I would expect a partial refund for such experience.
