I recently stayed one night here. I only chose it due to proximity to my work event. My first room allocated 134 was so loud as it's really close to Flemington Rd. Moved to 204. On Harker St. Noisy but not as bad. Definitely a very tired hotel. My room was missing one curtain only a backing on one side. Room service for a quiet Wed night. No Veggie burger at 6.15pm. Chicken burger option was not cooked so are around the chicken. Breakfast buffet. Ok. Coffee machine. Wouldnt recommend.

Not up to Mercure standards, it felt more like a budget motel. My first room had a strange smell so I requested to change. No welcome drink or other included benefits. I would recommend other hotels in the same price range over staying here again.

I’ve stayed with Mecure North Melbourne before and have always found the experience pleasant. The rooms are very clean and comfortable. The staff helpful and friendly. Parking is plentiful and the restaurant and included breakfast very good.

Great location, disappointing hotel though, especially for price.

The Mercure name was let down by this hotel. Very run down and no staff. Disappointing! It is well located for our needs but very short staffed, run down, needed maintenance and renovation. Room service order was lost, after two phone calls and an hour, it arrived, it was truly awful. Pool area was dirty and full of cobwebs. Staff were pleasant but there wasn't enough staff to cope.
