We unexpectedly had to stay an extra night due to my sons Father passing away at the Alfred. Your staff (Aldana, I think - day reception staff 17/18 April) were very kind and made an effort to change other bookings to allow us to extend our booking and sleep in the same room (as we were doing shifts sitting with their Father overnight, this was very important). Many thanks to Aldana and Mercure for you efforts and understanding. Janet

On the very first day that I arrived I found the parking attendant aka concierge aka valet most unwelcoming. I think his name was Eduardo but cannot be sure. On the subsequent days, did not see him again and the employees were absolutely world class and very helpful. Also to note, the vehicle rented on the vet first day was parked by the unwelcoming valet aka concierge. It was returned on the next day damaged on the front right. This was later mentioned to Europcar with whom I took insurance just in case.

Hotel is just OK. Feels tired and no additional amenities in the rooms. Feels like things have been really let go and left to their bare bones. Smell in the hallway, and some grime in the room itself.
