Beautiful place but disappointed with the service

The place is beautiful with amazing view but disappointed with the waiting time: 30 min for check in when I’m platinum member. 1 hour for the food at the restaurant Also can not use Accor plus because it was day off. Overall it was disappointing.

Good stay, too bad is a bit old

We went with whole family 10 people and book three rooms, two of them keep having problem with the water and plumbing so we have to switch two times. Overall it is a good stay, the beach is all right with the Starbucks just in front of the beach is a huge win! Love the breakfast and dinner all the time compliment to the chef providing us good appetizing menu choices to pick from for our three nights stay. I hope Mercure will fix the facilities soon, will looking forward to come back again

I was staying during Songkarn Festival with my partner. However, the front desk did a lot of mistake (incl her supervisor). They have offered me a promotion then rejected that offer because they was misunderstood. I saw other clients complain about their late check-in because the rooms weren’t ready. Mine also happened the same. During the festival, there was no event at all. It was kinda boring if we didn’t book other activities. The pool was dirty. Facilities in the room (Jacuzzi, shower) was unsteady and shabby. The telephone was working well, but no one pick up the calls (tried to call every related departments to book the beach activity). In the end, I had to call hotel number via my cellphone. I admire the comfortable of the bed though. Other staffs were nice and agile. But at the package price it costed, the other hotel/resort might be the better options. Overall, I am disappointed.

Staff and grounds needs improvement

I like the room. It is clean and spacious. The grounds however needs imorovement. Front desk staff is not friendly nor helpful and their English speaking ability is very low. I was very sick in the night so ask front desk assistance to find hospital. Staff did not understand. Asked for supervisor only told me not here call back 9am.

Lovey villa but guest service not great

We stayed in one of the villas which was lovely, with a private pool. Prior to our arrival I had emailed the hotel three times to ask if we could arrive early and received no replies from any of our emails. When we arrived they were able to amend our booking but it would have been good to know this before we arrived on the island. None of the staff spoke particularly good English and so we had to communicate via an app which was frustrating. Despite booking a room for two adults and two children there was only one bed in the room and they seemed surprised we would need somewhere for the children to sleep. It then took a lot of time (due to lack of English) for us to get any extra beds, we were then told it would cost us 600bht per bed per night which I felt was very expensive and should have been included in the original booking. When I questioned this it was given to us in exchange for us having to pay for breakfast for one of the children. There was a real lack of flexibility in the staffs desire to provide good customer service. Although the room was clean, on two of the days we were there the room was not cleaned until nearly 5pm leaving us without. Clean towels and water for a whole day. The overall hotel looks rather worn and tired and whilst it was quite good value for the villa room with its own pool, the lack of desire to provide a good standard of customer service and the rigidity of everything you asked for needing to cost extra money means we wouldn’t stay there again.
