We where very happy with our stay at Mercure Tunbridge Wells staff all very helpful just to mention some names Victoria at reception very bubbly and made us feel at home as soon as we've checked in , breakfast chef Linda no problems with any requests we had and also house keeping Roma And Lily And Kim super girls we definately stay again restaurant staff very accomodating .The room 122 could be looked at ,furniture all chipped and carpet broken, something you dont espect in a 4 stars hotel

Quick and efficient check in. Clean room and bathroom, well equipped and restaurant food was great and the staff even bette, Tim was really helpful and friendly even though they were extremely busy. I suggest booking in advance to prevent disappointment

The hotel was very good and tidy overall all staff had very good customer service skills .tom was extremely helpful all round and very quick with service . Tom is a credit to the hotel . Tim from the restaurant was also very helpful and carterd for all needs

We went to this hotel as part of a virgin experience gift from my son and daughter-in-law (That could explain things) we arrived late afternoon and were given the key to our room 281 on second floor , just put our bags in the room and went for a drink in the bar it had been a long day when we got to the bar looked like they had been doing a bit of work a few tools behind the bar and empty shelves lovely girl behind the bar she got our drinks and we sat and drank our drinks , returned to our room had a quick nap before getting ready to go for dinner they advised us to have early dinner 18.30 as they had a big coach party coming in which we did , when I eventually went in the bathroom I noticed straight away two large cracks in the sink first thing I thought of was germs , if you had a cracked plate you would throw it out next the bath taps were odd not matching bear in mind this is a four star hotel , in the bedroom there was a heater obviously not working as there was a portable heater with Maintenance written across it , now I'm not a fussy person but really good job it was just one night . The reception , bar and restaurant were nicely decorated and nice furniture , when we went back to the bar on our why to dinner the shelves had been filled up and tools removed . went in to dinner and ordered our meal we both had soup my husband had pie and I had rib eye, both had ice cream every thing was fine asked for my steak to be medium it was a bit over cooked but still beautiful very tender . All the staff were very friendly , anyway went to bed the curtains were excellent blackout and they worked . Booked 09.00am breakfast which was fine breakfast was very good the only thing not so good they were clearing away the breakfast things while us and other people were still eating . And the last thing I must say about is the parking not very clear , I have a blue badge so parked in the disabled parking space , on the sign it said parking charges apply to blue badge holders so I paid £10 when I got to reception they said we shouldn't have paid just given them my Registration perhaps they should make this clear at the disabled parking spaces.

The bed is lovely had very nice sleep due to the pillows. The staff was very welcoming and easy to speak to and any think we needed there help us with that. The food was very nice two I would recommend this place to many friends and family thank you to all staff
