A little piece of paradise up in the mountains. The staff (especially Lalita, Sarah & all restaurant staff) are amazing! So kind, professional and always willing to go above and beyond. So friendly and provide the most outstanding customer service you could ask for! Breakfast buffet is always delicious with lots to choose from, always fresh and constantly topped up at all times. Coffee is delish! Barista made and can not fault anything! We dined at Mandy’s for dinner and it is 5 star service and the quality and freshness of the food is amazing. We have continued to come back (7 times now) because of the staff, service and just overall, the beautiful experience every time we stay. Beautiful views, housekeeping staff are lovely and always servicing the rooms daily and providing everything you need to make your stay comfortable and clean. We will continue to come back because every single time we have stayed here, we enjoy it more and more each time and have built great rapport with the staff. Would highly recommend as the lodge offers so many great features and has excellent ammenities. So much to do and a relaxing and quiet environment on top of the mountain. The cheese platter is to die for and the beds are so comfy and rooms very clean. Keep up the amazing work guys because we love this place and thank you for always making our stay super enjoyable and fun!

Its gone to the dogs in the last 12months, no customer service, such an effort for any of the staff to do anything, overpriced. The food at the hot buffet breakfast was cold. Staff are very rude and unfriendly, everything was such an effort for them to do their job. They even had a wedding there that weekend and the guests no idea where to go, it was appalling. Wouldn't recommend it to anyone

I never give bad reviews because I think it's unkind, but I don't want someone else to have the same experience I did. What is advertised is definitely not what is delivered. Please refer to photos… nothing more needs to be said. When arriving and saw my room (Superior Room) and the venue....I wanted to leave.....and requested a refund. Melissa receptionist said that I was not entitled to a refund because I signed the terms and conditions stating I needed to give 14 days' notice to cancel to receive a refund. I calmly stated that "what you are advertising is false advertisement and not what you receive when you arrive; therefore, I would like a refund, please." Front desk/manager repeated above. I proceed to explain Australian Consumer Law and that my sister is a lawyer and that again, they were falsely advertising online. It was at this point I was offered a refund of 50% of my accommodation costs. I took it because I just wanted to stay somewhere else. There is much nicer accommodation at Eaton Hill!

My partner and I booked a 2 night break here. From the moment we arrived we only experienced friendly and helpful staff throughout our stay. Our room was spacious and clean with a great view. Food was good but very limited choices for dinner if you’re not a meat eater. However plenty of good choices for lunch. Good standard of food but not what I would class as ‘gourmet’. It was well presented and the pumpkin risotto was exceptionally good. Nice pool (only criticism is lack of rail to assist getting out of pool) but we are getting on a bit ! If you want a nice quiet break to just relax then this is the place to go. So close to Brisbane but you feel you are a million miles away. Clean fresh air and total relaxation. We didn’t try the Spa but intend to on our return visit which we have already booked A big thank you to all the staff, each and every one is a credit to the hotel.

Great place as long as you don't have your expectations hyped up.

Impromptu booking in the morning for a one night stay to enable to do some quiet work during school holidays. Awesome drive to the property, efficient check in with a minor hick up, but lovely staff. The property is dated but kept in really good condition. Room is clean, nothing fancy, but functional and clean. My only issue was dinner. Service was non existent for a solid 15 min; until we finally got picked up by a young lady (no name tag) who was worth her weight in gold. The food was underwhelming though and could have been seasoned, but as we know, this is subjective, so others might find it great. Check out easy again.
