Poor Hospitality - ibis chain is a thief

The staff at the time of check-in was extremely polite. In this politeness, they took my credit card and blocked an amount of 20K in it, mentioning that if there are no expenses apart from stay (as the same was sponsored by my org) they will release it. I gave it in confidence, assuming that no money will be deducted without my consent. During my stay, I availed laundry for 6 days. When I was checking out, I was told by the staff person Akhil that there are no dues (laundry bill has been waived off) and my credit card will be released from their end. However, later in the evening I get a message that almost double the amount of my actual expense on laundry has been charged on my card. I was shocked as to how this has happened and I have been fighting with the hotel for a refund due to the same. I have no idea why in the first place the staff lied to me at the time of check-out (I would have happily paid the bill given an invoice was shared), and then almost double the amount has been charged on my card, without my permission. I have been an ALL member, but this has never happened to me before. The staff and everyone on ground is running a SCAM! I wish a strict action is taken on this ASAP.
