1) Corridors were dark as lights were activated by sensors. This is scary especially at night. 2) Breakfast selection is disappointing.

The experience is not at the same level as in other Mercure hotels in Brazil, even in the city of Salvador - Mercure Rio Vermelho, for example, is far superior at a similar price level. Mercure Boulevard experience consists in a fair enough hotel room, but in a building with dark corridors (presence sensor requires you to reach the middle of the corridor in the dark), too few elevators for the size of building, resulting in very long waiting times, terrible wi-fi signal in the room and a below average breakfast.

Bed was very uncomfortable, so were the pillows. Could not sleep well. No blankets in the wardrobe.
