Being a member of ALL has its perks, I don't know if it is only available that time but my request of higher floor was granted. We were booked at the 6th floor and were given the best room with a nice city view where you can see the famous TV Tower. Well located hotel with just a minute walk to Rosenthalerplatz station of Ubahn and Tram. Nearby restaurants, bar and supermarket. Lively neighborhood. Nice breakfast, with variety of options. There is no coffee making machine in the room but you can have your afternoon or after dinner tea or coffee at the lobby for free. Nice and professional staff, especially the front desk staff. I just find it weird where shower and the toilet are separated. But overall, we had a nice stay in Ibis Styles Berlin Mitte.

Having a little difficulty walking I found the hotel convenient for sightseeing, having access to the trams outside the door (which everyone may not like with the sound throughout the day and night) but Hey! It’s Berlin! Also the U-Bahn lift there too. I found the room large enough but not easy to walk around it because of the bulky wooden structure around the mattress. The room I was in wasn’t wheelchair friendly due to having to step up to use the hand basin, the large shower was very slippery inside and no grab handle. The toilet was a separate red glass box, cleanliness would have to have a small hand basin instead you must negotiate the door a corner wall and the step. The room lacked a chair and comfort but you had the bed and terrible pillows (past their best completely). Convenient in some ways in other ways a no no. I enjoyed myself but don’t think it’s for me there again. Shame.

Clean place. Friendly, helpful staff. Comfortable bed. Located at a busy intersection which made for noisy nights. I down loaded a white noise app and bought ear plugs the 2nd night and would highly recommend doing the same before your stay.
