The staff were all excellent the ambience the rooms the furnishings especially the dining room were top quality The menu was a very good choice but unfortunately was let down by less than good quality food The lasagne was only warm garlic bread and salad excellent The fish cakes were overcooked and dry fries were excellent Overall a good stay and a good price but spoilt somewhat by the food

However, I'm sorry to hear the food didn't hit the spot - it's certainly not the experience we aim to deliver. While our garlic bread and fries were a hit, it sounds like we have some work to do on the lasagne and fish cakes. I'll be sure to pass your feedback to our culinary team. We're always looking to improve, and guest feedback is invaluable in that process. The recycling has now become a law we must adhere to, albeit I agree...what next! Staff helpful but very limited food offering. There was only one hard chair in the room which was not comfortable for leisure seating. The shower was not good, to get the temperature you needed to turn the power right up to the top which was not nice.
