Superb location or a reasonably priced 4*, close to the quay with all the restaurants and views. Lovely rooms and very special pool with the usual facilities. We were 6 celebrating a 21st birthday, staff not only reserved a breakfast table but bent over backwards to assist in making the surprise special. Compliments to the staff that were working on 21st March 2024. Bar area is comfy and inviting, reception area luxurious and spacious. This was our second stay and will be our go to hotel in Exeter, especially as they offer dog friendly rooms. Highly recommended.

always pleasure coming to this hotel.. i’m not too sure about the charging in the swimming pool when you are guest!!! and that is one of the reason that bring my grandchildren to this hotel…

Extremely disappointed to learn that the swimming pool, sauna and jacuzzi (which were previously free) is now £10. The room was cold and felt damp, obviously hadn't had any heating on in a while. Waited an hour in the restaurant for food, waitress apologised. No reason why, there was only 10 people in total in the restaurant at the time.

Stayed here as a family of 3 and the hotel was well equipped for families and the egg hunt was a nice touch. I wanted to mentioned Martyn at the front desk, as he has brilliant customer service and made our trip memorable. Thank you very much, you are a star and a credit to the hotel!

I was sad to find out on arrival that you now have to pay to use the pool, not just once for your stay but every time you use the pool and it was £10. I don't know of any pools that charge that much. I have been coming to this hotel for well over 15 years and this has made me think that maybe I need to look for a different hotel. Very sad that members do not get it free or at a discount.
