I stayed at this hotel with my partner and daughter while visiting Christchurch, and it was a fantastic hotel! The hotel was extremely efficiently run, with lovely staff. It was also clean and the food here was great! I had a pasta meal in the restaurant that was probably one of the best pasta meals I’ve ever had, and I’ve eaten in a lot of Italian restaurants! The hotel boasts a great central location, too, so perfect for exploring the town. We also did a trip over to Akaroa and Mt Cook. I would recommend this hotel and stay here if I ever returned to Christchurch.

Staff were friendly and very helpful. Room was great. Only downside was the bar not being staffed when we went for a drink we waited about 10mins and then went back to our room.

Noisy air conditioner unit

We stayed two nights. Both nights the air con unit was noisy and wasn't cooling the room down. We let the staff know and they apologized that they were unable to fix what is an old system. Expensive stay @ $400 night and terrible sleep. Great location, friendly staff.
