Centrally located, and clean, but a small and dingy (old carpets and curtains) room and corridors, and with infrastructure works nearby late in evening and early morning it was noisy .

Great location but rooms not as described online

When we booked online the rooms all had windows with street views, seperate bathrooms and a general nice looking room. We walked in and we were greeted with a very small room, smaller than our bedroom in our house with the shower not even in a seperate room, just a shower curtain separating between the bed and the shower and sink. Super small and hard to move around the room and no where to put our luggage and clothes. Window was sealed shut and you could not see out of it as they have put a heavy film over the windows so also no airflow either. The toilet thankfully had another room but it was absolutely filthy, the walls were covered in piss stains and the back of the door had some suspicious white stains all over it too, as if they don’t wipe down the walls at all between visits. We settled for this as it was cheap and we were only going to be in the room to sleep and shower but it felt a little bit like a prison room with the lighting, how small it was and no windows. Definitely won’t be coming back to stay here and won’t be recommending to friends either - spend the extra $100 on a nicer hotel room so you don’t regret it like us. I nearly booked us in a new hotel because of how disappointed we both were. Staff were all very lovely and easy to communicate with and the location was awesome with being easy to get anywhere you wanted and two tram stops right outside the door. But will definitely be spending the extra money for somewhere that doesn’t look and feel like a prison. Our heating also didn’t work at all so our room was constantly freezing cold. Overall wish we booked a different hotel and asked for a refund as it made our first trip away together in 5 years a bit disappointing.

Very quiet and good location

I’ve stayed here on a number of occasions, the location is great, close to public transport and other attractions. It might be a bit outdated but he cosy rooms are quiet and contain everything needed for a quick stay. Can’t beat price for location.

The TV remote didn't work, so I had to get that changed. The door wouldn't shut properly. I came back after the cleaners had been and the door was ajar so anybody could have walked into my room and stolen stuff. There was mould on the ceiling in 2 spots. I paid for breakfast and found out that it was only a continental breakfast. There was no mention that it was only a continental breakfast when I booked.
