elliffer Friends getaway - TripAdvisor review

I had a nice experience staying at this hotel with my friends in February. We stayed for two nights, which was pleasant enough. Walking distance from city centre and nice rooms. On the downside i did leave an item in my room - initially the hotel did call my friend (who made the booking) to let her know. I emailed the hotel and was advised by a member of staff to arrange a courier to collect the item. After i did this and emailed the hotel the confirmation details, I didn’t hear back from them again. I have emailed a few times and are being seemingly ignored. As the item left behind was not cheap, I can’t help but feel like I have been played. If someone from the hotel would like to contact me regarding this, it would be appreciated.

Upon arrival I asked for the room safety box batteries to be replaced in order to be able to use it, after 5 days it was never changed. The safety box was really dirty. Bathroom cleaning could be much better.

Overall really lovely. Holly was absolutely fantastic and helped me sort out an issue for my little boy. Pool was warm and great entertainment. There were a few little issues, firstly I was given the wrong room despite asking, I had booked an executive suit for me and superior for my daughter and boyfriend, I was given the wrong room and as they were rushed to go out couldn't swap as they had made themselves at home and I realised to late. I did however really like my room, just missed the extras. There were a few little issues, shower exetremely still and hard to use and bed loght not working but staff were very appreciative of being told. Conditioner was empty in my daughter's room. But as said overall the stay was fantastic and staff helpful. Would definitely book again.
