Booked for a day use from 9am to 18hrs, received confirmation email was also double confirmed by the central reservation executive. Arrived hotel at 9:16 but staff at the reception staff asked to pay extra charge for early check in argued check in time is 10am!!! Reception Staff were very rude did not bother to listen, central reservation team also couldn't help me. Had to leave the hotel without checking in, let down by the entire staff. Especially staff at the reception were unfriendly and rude. I would never book room in this hotel.

Well located. Check in and out very easy. Breakfast was satisfactory. Room was clean and comfortable. The fire alarm went off at 4:30am, but the disruption was due to another guest and I think the team handled it well.

Check in staff were pleasant, not a bad location BUT the room was smelly. The shower is in the room behind a screen and the drains smelt. The sink was by the bed and the drains smelt. Carpets had not been hoovered or swept, I darent to pull back the duvet, we didn't stay the night! It felt more like a room at a hostel.

Needed a hotel for the night at late notice and this was available at a good price. About 10 minutes walk from the station which was perfect. The staff were friendly, lovely pub over the road for food. The rooms aren’t brilliant though, lack of carpeted flooring made it feel cold and the room felt a little ‘tired. It is described as a budget hotel but at just over £70 I’d expect a little better from the room.
