The rooms were extremely tight, bathroom, shower- way too close together. I never stayed in a room where the shower was soooo close to the bed and the toilet was so enclosed. I did not like this at all. I would not recommend or stay in a hotel like this. The breakfast was not good at all. Need better options for a brazil style breakfast.

The room itself is simple and small, but it has no dedicated bathroom. It has a restroom that's so small that you can barely fit inside along with the toilet. Outside the restroom and right inside the bedroom, there's a shower. The shower has a glass door that's transparent, so unless you're alone or staying with your partner, the other people have to leave the bedroom so that you can shower without being seen naked. Moreover, I found and had to kill three big ants inside the bedroom, one of them was walking on the wall right above the bed. That's unacceptable for the price that was paid for the room. Also, if you're in a room facing the square, you can hear music late at night even on weekdays and it can make sleeping harder. All in all, I've stayed at cheaper Airbnb apartments (yes, I paid less for the entire apartment) in Rio that were far bigger, more comfortable and had no to insects that could bite me.
