Clean and comfortable room. I had all of the amenities I needed to have an enjoyable stay. Staff was very friendly, accommodating and kind. I had been nervous traveling to Sao Paulo not knowing the language, however everyone at the hotel was helpful and understanding. Breakfast was nice each morning with a lot of variety. I was impressed there was a rooftop pool and gym. It would have been nice to have a few more options for free weights and a drinking fountain or water cooler in the gym. Overall, I felt safe and comfortable throughout my stay and I would absolutely stay here again in the future.

Personnel very nice. I used the Gym and Pool. appreciate the extended hours (like 6am). Pool too warm in my modest opinion. Breakfast reasonably good (pineapple fantastic) but too repetitive. I was there for nine days, nine breakfast). Changes in the sweet food but not too much in others. Room ok. I would suggest more light and TV instructions (and some more international channels). Bathroom is what it is. Not easy to improve because lack of space. I very much appreciate the good shower.

I've been staying in this hotel for years, and I believe that it is time for a more extensive renovation of the bedrooms and bathrooms.

Mercure has changed for better. It used to have issues with heating and water. But it looks perfect now. The warmth and friendliness of staff hasn't changed at all. Mr. Andre who was dii g some renovation work was extremely cordial and friendly.
