Stayed here for a few times in the past as it is 4 station by metro to Exhibition Centre. My room was small but was still ok for a solo business trip. Check in and out procedures were very fast. Thanks to front office staff. Minibar at my room was not working, just a phone call and it is replaced in about 10 minutes. Super service 👍👏👏Hygenic and cleanless were on higher level as far as l have observed. Wifi works very well so sending and receiving big files was not problem. Breakfast buffet was below my expectation but it was still ok to start to the day with a fresh coffee or tea. Metro is about 40 meters away and a small shopping mall The North Harbour is just opposite the hotel.There is a big super market in the shopping mall. Transfer to hotel is very simple by bus A11. Just get off at the final stop where all buses park, cross the street and in a few steps you are at the hotel. There was some maintenance works at the hotel but we did not experience any inconvenience. Overall we have satisfied with our stay although a little bit far fm touristic zones but still metro and bus services are available. Recommended👍

A hidden gem

North Point is such a great location in HK. Loads of delicious traditional food and vibrant culture. The hotel is well located , just two walk from airport bus terminal. My room had harbour view , the staffs were friendly and welcoming, and the room was clean and well presented. It would be better if tea bag and instant coffee were provided (kettle was available,,) Breakfast was however average, nothing too special except the coffee.

More Ibis Budget than Ibis

1) The main problem was that the air-conditioning had no thermostatic control, leaving the choice of very cold or too warm and humid. 2) all the pillows were too thick, making good sleep more difficult and causing a stiff neck the next day. 3) the overall quality of the room and its facilities were more reminiscent of the Ibis Budget brand rather than the regular Ibis hotels I have stayed in in elsewhere. 4) On the upside, the breakfast was good and the 1HKD promotion for it was most welcome. 5) Another upside was the courteous and efficient service provided by all the staff I encountered.
