The bed was extremely comfortable and we had a great nights sleep That having been said, the bed base needs to have at least a 120mm gap under the bed to allow for the hydraulic hoist legs to go under the bed (so I can transfer my wife from her wheelchair to the bed and back safely. The bed in the Newcastle IBIS has the gap but not the bed in Thornleigh…? I’m not sure why…?

The accommodation is always clean and comfortable. This recent experience was no different. I did ask that a receipt be emailed to me, however I did not receive that. The breakfast, though it is generous, is quite overpriced for what it actually is.
