The bed was very comfortable and I had a good night's sleep every night despite overlooking a busy road. The amenities were good, although the bathroom tap was loose and some of the fitments were rough around the edges; ideally, it could do with an update. Breakfast was disappointing, with little cooked choice, and the bacon was tough - it definitely isn't worth £12. But, overall, good value for money.

We love the Chesterfield Ibis. Conveniently located by the ring road and handy for walking into town. We have stayed several times and find the beds very comfortable. We also love the ground floor lounge facility with free hot drinks and there is a bar available too. Recommended.

Stayed for three nights in room1 which was very quiet and convenient.Didnt get beds made or bin emptied on Saturday but that was no major problem.Always find reception staff very helpful and obliging.Love the coffee in the bar!!!
