Well past a refresh, smelled of bug spray and mould. Window was broken and put back together with pull ties, which didn't help keep out the road noise. Seemed to be home to migrant families on a semi or perminate basis, which is fine but was not reflected online. We have stayed in Ibis hotels all over the world and this was not up to the standard of any of them.

I was on the toilet when there was a knock on my door. The toilet is very close to the door. I said hang on. Then a much more impatient knock. I said coming then someone was opening my door. I managed to get dressed and I opened the door as one of the housekeeping staff was pushing in. I said what do you want ? They asked are you staying over? I replied yes I paid receptionist already. Check with them before you come busting in . Surely this is not Accor standard procedure ? I then got properly dressed and informed front desk that I was not happy. Totally disrespectfull on behalf of the staff. The girl concerned later apologized to me.

The carpets are worn, the passage roof on the second floor leaked when it rained. There is no lift. It needs a lot of TLC to bring it upto modern day stay. The staff are friendly and helpful.

Mould in shower door, shower wets whole small shower/toilet cubicle, cleaning isn't done well there were hairs and dirt in corners of shower cubicle. Fridge can't be turned up so the ice tray section doesn't freeze water or cold pack and drinks just cold enough. Place regularly smelled in corridors of foreign food which I couldn't understand as rooms don't have a microwave. Coffee tea and sugar provided but no milk. No screens on windows so if window is opened bugs get in the room. Requested later check out but didn't receive it even though I was given 11am check out had staff knocking on the door telling me I was supposed to be out by normal 10am check out. Aircon was dirty. Ok to just sleep but nothing has changed or been updated since they used to charge $70 a night and now charge over $100. Also am Accor member and booked online but didn't receive my discount. Probably will look elsewhere rather than stay here again.
