We didn't realize it was a budget hotel at E250/night, so we're disappointed with no fridge, tea services,only 2 towels, noisy bathroom door. The shower was a nice size but the mattresses kept falling off the bed

While our SweetBeds by ibis are designed for relaxation, we apologize that they did not meet your expectations on this occasion. For future stays, we recommend requesting a room on a higher floor or towards the backside of the hotel, as these are noted to be quieter. Regarding the air cooling system, we are sorry if this did not provide the level of comfort you expected. Our system is designed to maintain a temperature 5 to 10 degrees lower than the outside temperature, and we apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused during your stay. We also understand that value for money is important, and we are sorry to hear that you felt your experience did not match the price paid. The Ibis Stopera was a great hotel for our stay in Amsterdam. The breakfast was excellent. The staff was pleasant and helpful and the rooms were clean. The beds were comfortable and the location of the hotel was close to shopping, and walkable to many restaurants. The Waterlooplein flea market was just a couple of blocks away. We walked to Dam Square within 20 minutes each day...and we are all in our 70's. We would stay here again when we are in Amsterdam.

Not ideally situated for walking around Amsterdam, as it's a good 15 minutes walk to get anywhere interesting. No family rooms available. My daughter had to sleep in one bed with her two young daughters, rather than leave them in a room on their own, leaving her husband to sleep in a room on his own. No coffee or tea available in the rooms, which was very disappointing. There's nothing like a nice hot drink as soon as you wake up! Breakfast was far too expensive, especially for young children. Nine euros for a 7-year-old, who only wants a drink and a bowl of cereal. We eventually found a breakfast café where we paid less than half of what the hotel were charging, but even that was a 10-minute walk.

Good hotel in a quiet location. Staff were extremely helpful. We arrived in the morning and, as our rooms were ready, we were given keys to our room before 10am. Breakfast was well worth the cost. Plenty of food choices with hot and cold drinks. Food was replenished quickly. Staff were available and helpful if there were any issues.
