Ciuchy Couples - TripAdvisor review

Terrible experience, very outdated building, poor quality and pricey breakfast. Rooms full of dust (I could not sleep the night). Very rude staff, one of them even said ‘french only’ as she did not speak English. Horrible experience! Choose something better, with proper hospitality services and decent rooms/facilities. I think there are some Riad in the medina of Essaouria, I would go for a good one of them.

We stayed as a family of 5 and had a very comfortable stay. Staff were helpful, service was attentive. Some of the facilities are a little tired and dated but overall this did not hinder our experience.

Good Location but in my opinion it’s not at 5 star level anymore it’s a little rough around the edges - I previously stayed in a modern 5 star sister hotel Mogador Golf and this does not measure up to that experience unfortunately!

Nice hotel in a great location. Room is super clean and there is cleaning service twice a day. However, considering it is a hotel and spa (and a large reason we stayed here) there were no available appointments and you had to book a time slot at the indoor pool. Our first day there were no slots and our second day nothing worked with our pre-booked activities. I have stayed in several hotels of similar nature in the past and never experienced anything like this before.

Sweat and suncream stained poolside furniture. Ants in the bedroom. Poor quality food around the pool. The whole place needs a revamp. Didn’t bother with the breakfast after experiencing food during day. Pool looked murky. Walking distance to medina and beach only plus. Left after two nights and went elsewhere James, uk
