I have stayed at Novotel, Glen Waverley a few times now and have NEVER been disappointed. Everything from my welcome to the room (320) to my room service and check out was easy and enjoyable. Parking remains expensive so I couldn't leave my car underground. I do understand the area is a busy one and space is a premium. I am a casually employed First Aid Trainer (ex nurse of 40 years) so don't earn a huge wage but I love the Novotel because in Glen Waverley I feel safe and once a find a "home away from home" I prefer to stay loyal. Your staff are beautiful and amazing. The cleaners need to be congratulated too. I left them a small $10 tip in bathroom and a note to say I apppreciate them. The room is always spotless and clean. I worked in intensive care for many years and we knew how important our cleaners were! Especially during the pandemic! They were the often unseen heroes who had to clean, sanitise, sterilise and literally work their backsides off to make sure we could be ready for our next beautiful patient. Without the cleaners, us nurses knew we would be literally stuffed! They never got the boxes of chocolates or thank you's us nurses received but they are just as important, if not more. So I would really appreciate it if the cleaners at Glen Waverley Novotel be given a round of applause to say if not for them, that welcoming feel would not be so great in a dirty motel. Thank you to all of you. I am sure I will see you all again. If I learned anything nursing through not only the pandemic but the last 40 years of my career, it is to not sweat the big stuff. Be grateful for the little things and always try to leave people a little better than you found them. You do that Novotel Glen Waverley! I want you to know how much I appreciate it. Good, but disappointed that we were told the day before arriving that we were not able to use our loyalty card over our stay for meal discounts.
