1st room had no hot water and was filthy, then second room(when we asked to be moved) was also filthy

Beautiful scenery

My stay was short but sweet. The rooms were clean and well set up, the gardens were beautiful, it was a little confusing finding the reception as I have never been and there were not a lot of signage but wasn’t hard just had to walk around. Team were very friendly also. Very positive environment

I have availed the early check in and paid before hand the $50 extra for it. However, the day we checked in, we were told that our room wasn’t available yet but I’d insisted that we must be accepted because I paid that already that $50 early checkin charge. The reception staff didn’t looked happy about it but came back that the room will be available. Found out that a room was available but totally dismayed that the room quality wasn’t the one I’ve expected because it wasn’t the one shown during the online booking. Nevertheless, the hot bath was good and the people in the restaurant are pretty amazing. We enjoyed the dinner but sworn not to come back again on this hotel. I’m sorry but the management has to do something about this because I’ve always had high regards to Mercure hotels. I’m happy to come back again on this hotel only if the management would be able to address these things so that others won’t suffer from the horrible things we’ve experienced.

We cannot always guarantee an early check in as our departure time is 11am and many guests will stay until that time. It obviously takes time to clean the room thereafter. If the room booked is available, we will do our utmost to provide an early check in. If we cannot any monies paid will be refunded. Neat and clean accommodation, family friendly with very helpful staff. In an excellent location close to shops, sports grounds and eateries. Would highly recommend for families or business travel.

Terrible stay

Food and bar service was terrible waiting over twenty minutes for a drink and over an hour for dinner more than once. Possums in the roof all different times of the night no hot water for two days. Afternoon bar and restaurant staff very rude to customers not a very good experience at all.
